This is a report on our trip to Nanjing, Beijing, and Shanghai in China.

Kathleen will present at a conference at Nanjing University Suzhou Campus, China on October 26 on the subject of “Rereading ‘Classics’ in the Cinema: The Film Remake as Archive”

Kathleen will give a keynote speech at Nanjing University, China on October 21 on the subject of “Film and Memory: Negotiating Past and Present.”

Kathleen will give a public lecture at Nanjing University, China on October 18 on the subject of “From Feuilleton to Forever Franchise: A History of Seriality and Adaptation in Popular Culture.”

Kathleen and Yining will visit China from October 12 to November 2, 2024 to launch the Chinese main study.

The Chinese main study is open on our platform from 7 October to 31 December, 2024.

Kathleen Loock has been awarded the International Fellowship from Nanjing University (China) in the “Distinguished Scholar” category.

Kathleen Loock, Alejandra Bulla, Yining Zhang, and Stefan Dierkes will present at the HoMER conference July 10-12, 2024.

Kathleen Loock, Alejandra Bulla, Yining Zhang, and Stefan Dierkes were at the NECS conference at Izmir, Turkey, giving presentations on their research.
