On this page you will find detailed information about how you can participate, fill out a questionnaire and sign up for an interview. We invite film enthusiasts of all ages who would like to share their memories with us to participate in the project. How can I participate?
If you would like to participate in the HOLLYWOOD MEMORIES project, you first need to register – using the form at the bottom of the page – with your email address. We will then notify you when the study begins and you can fill out aquestionnaire and schedule an online interview with us on our digital research platform. In addition to the questionnaire, we have also prepared polls, small tasks and a discussion forum and hope you will have some fun on our platform. We would be happy to see you there.
How exactly does the project work?

Start of the study
In May 2022, the first case study (Germany) was launched on our digital research platform. The Mexico case study was launched in March 2023, and the China case study in 2024. The USA case study followed in August 2025 and continues until the end of this year. To participate in the project, you first need to register here on the website with your email address. Alternatively, you can also directly sign up for a meeting here: calendly.com/hollywood-memories/us-case-study. We will then send you a confirmation.

Questionnaire and Interviews
You will then have the opportunity to complete our questionnaire with one of our team members and tell them about your movie memories. In total you will probably need 60-90 minutes to answer all the questions.
After your one-on-one session, you will also have the opportunity to participate in one of our group interviews. These are conducted in a similar way to the one-on-one sessions, except that 3 to 4 participants share their memories.

At the end of our time on the digital research platform, we will evaluate the questionnaires and interviews.
