Talk at the Carl-Friedrich-Gauß-School, Hemmingen

On January 20, 2026, the Hollywood Memories team visited the Carl-Friedrich-Gauß School in Hemmingen and presented the project. In a 12th grade advanced English class, Alejandra, Yining, and Tina presented the video essay “Between Magic and Realism: Global Audience Memories of Disney Classics and Their Live-Action Remakes” and gave the students an insight into our work: what we want to research and find out, how we collect our data, what experiences they have had with Hollywood films so far, and how they themselves can get involved in science.
This was made possible by our participation in the “Night Out with Science” (November 8, 2025), where we were able to make contacts and make this visit a reality.
