"Original & Remake" film series at KOKI (Invasion of the Body Snatchers)

On January 14, the Hollywood Memories team is organizing another Original & Remake film screening at KOKI (Kommunales Kino im Künstlerhaus Hannover). In collaboration with Dr. Felix Brinker and his class on “Introduction to Film Analysis: Horror Films,” Kathleen will give a short introduction to two versions of Invasion of the Body Snatchers (Don Siegel, 1956 & Philip Kaufman, 1978).

Both films revolve around alien life forms that gradually replace humans with “pod people” and reflect the social anxieties of their time and their production context.

The films will be shown at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. in their original versions with German subtitles. For more information on tickets and directions, please visit the KOKI website.
