"Original & Remake" film series at KOKI (Breathless)

The “Original & Remake” film series at KOKI (Kommunales Kino im Künstlerhaus Hannover) continues: In collaboration with the “Hollywood Memories” team, À bout de souffle and Breathless will be shown on December 4.
The original version was released in 1960 by Jean-Luc Godard and stars Jean Seberg and Jean-Paul Belmondo in the leading roles; in the 1983 remake, Richard Gere and Valérie Kaprisky play the leading roles. Both films are about a petty criminal who is on the run after a deadly confrontation with the police and initially goes into hiding with his girlfriend.
Kathleen will give a short introduction to the films and transnational remakes.
The films will be shown at 6:30 p.m. and 8:15 p.m. in their original languages (French and English) with German subtitles. More information about tickets and directions can be found on the KOKI website.
