Kathleen was interviewed for the German magazine Brigitte: The article deals with the current remake boom, including reboots and revivals of Scrubs, Malcolm in the Middle, and Dexter. As Kathleen explains, this return to familiar material makes sense not only from the producers’ point of view, as familiar material promotes itself. The overwhelming abundance of series and films to choose from also tempts audiences to return to familiar faces they already know and like.
