Hollywood Memories publish their video essay “Between Magic and Realism: Global Audience Memories of Disney Classics and Their Live-Action Remakes”

The Hollywood Memories team has published its video essay on Disney films and their remakes. The essay explores how audiences look back on Disney’s animated classics and how their memories influence the live-action remakes. The project draws on the memories of participants from our sub-projects and uses audio clips from interviews from Mexico, Colombia, China and Germany, and combines these with video clips from animated Disney films and their remakes.
